Princess Eugenie wedding: How many of Prince Harry’s ex girlfriends will attend?

Princess Eugenie, 28, is currently preparing for her wedding to Jack Brooksbank, 31, on 12 October at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. 

Speculation about the guest list is rife, and fans question whether any of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriends, many of whom are friends with the Princess, are invited.  

Eugenie is known to be friendly with three of her cousin’s exes: Cressida Bonas, Chelsy Davy and Ellie Goulding. 

Two of Harry’s ex-girlfriends,Cressida and Cheesy, attended the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, 37, earlier this year.

So will we see them again at Eugenie’s wedding? It would seem Eugenie’s friendship with Cressida is still going strong.

She was pictured with the actress and model at a Louis Vuitton event in London in November last year. 

Eugenie and Cressida have been friends for many years. In fact, it was Eugenie who introduced Cressida to Harry in 2012, and the pair dated for two years.  

Meanwhile, Eugenie was pictured leaving Mayfair based private members’ club Annabel’s with Chelsy in June of this year. 

Although Harry and Chelsy called time on their relationship in 2011, Eugenie has remained firm friends with Chelsy, who dated her cousin for over six years. 

Given Eugenie has been friends with both women for many years, and has been seen with them both recently, it is safe to say they will probably receive an invitation.

Prince Harry’s rumoured relationship with bestselling pop singer Ellie Goulding is a little more complicated. 

The pair are said to have met when Ellie Goulding performed at Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.

They were spotted looking close at the Audi Polo Challenge in May 2016, according to reports. 

A source told The Sun at the time: “He has told friends how much he likes Ellie and she is clearly taken by him.”

Once again, Eugenie is close friends with Harry’s ex, whom she was pictured with in New York in October last year, with their respective significant others Jack and Caspar Jopling.

Given the pair have double dated in the past year, it is once again safe to assume Ellie might make the guest list as well – although this is yet to be confirmed. 

Earlier this week, it was revealed Princess Eugenie’s wedding will follow Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle with a certain element.

There is one royal tradition dating back to 1923 she will want to include, but may not be able to partake in – wearing a wedding band made of Welsh gold.

A lump of rare gold was dug up from the Clogau St David mine in Wales and given to the royal family, with every royal wedding since using the metal.

Most recently, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their wedding bands from the precious metal.
