Did Britney Spears seriously delay Israeli ELECTIONS with her Tel Aviv show?

It seems almost impossible, but the singer has actually disrupted the democratic process of an entire nation.

Reports from local media in Israel have confirmed that politicians have decided to postpone the elections to avoid a clash.

There were conecerns that voters would not be able to reach polling stations due to the disruption to traffic expected and officials admitted that it had proved difficul to find sufficient security personnel available to protect the voting process.

A statement said: “The election date was delayed by one day due to the fact that there is a major event at Yarkon Park on July 3, 2017.”

Although the wording was careful not to name the event in question, it is referring to the US superstar’s first ever concert in Isreal, which is part of her 2017 World Tour. British Britney fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of any UK dates.

So far, only dates in the Phillippines, Japan and Israel have been revealed, causing the Israeli elections to be moved to July 4.

A Labor Party spokesperson told The Times of Israel that the decision would “make it easier for people to reach polling stations” and admitted that officials had experienced “a difficulty in recruiting security guards” for the original date.

The ballots were the first round of the process to choose the leader of the Labour Part, HaAvoda.

Current leader Isaac Herzog is being opposed by high profile candidates like former high-tech entrepreneur MK Erel Margalit, former party leader MK Amir Peretz, former environmental protection minister Avi Gabbay, MK Eitan Cabel, former head of the elite IDF unit Sayeret Matkal MK Omer Barlev, activist-journalist Eldad Yaniv and retired general Yom Tov Samia.

Potential candidates still have until April 27 to submit their names.

Ther has been no official world from Britney Spears on the matter.

Her Twitter account is currently promoting her 2017 World Tour, which will follow on from her latest Las Vegas residency, plus her new album Glory.

Many of the other posts focus on her renewed interest in health and fitness, with numerous pictures and videos of her workout regime and impressive beach body.
