Archie Harrison wears adorable dungarees with this nod to the Royal Family

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, 35, began their official royal tour of Africa on Monday this week. They have visited different charities and groups in Cape Town. Meghan is thought to be taking a day off today as Harry has travelled to Botswana. Yesterday, the royals visited the South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu and took Archie Harrison with them for what was his first-ever royal engagement. He was dressed in a pair of affordable striped dungarees which had a sweet link to other royals.

As the couple stepped out, Meghan stayed cool in a chiffon white and navy dress which cost £368. 

Prince Harry dressed smartly in a suit but it was little Archie who stole the show in a pair of blue dungarees with a long-sleeved white t-shirt underneath.

Royal fans were quick to comment on his adorable look and how happy they were to see the family out together.

One Twitter user said: “What a gorgeous family and what a gorgeous happy little boy #archieharrison is! There is a lot of love here.”

“The photos keep getting better and better. Cutie pie,” another commented.

The royals opted for an affordable outfit, with Archie’s dungarees selling for just £12.99 in H&M.

Archie’s outfit gave a sweet nod to his family as it was very similar to a look Princess Diana dressed Prince Harry in back in 1985.

Since then, the style has been one favoured by the royals and similar looks have been seen on others.

Archie’s cousin, Prince George, six, wore a pair of stripy red and white dungarees when he watched Prince William play a charity polo match in 2014.

Earlier this year, Prince Louis, one, wore the same outfit as he attended the unveiling of Kate’s garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in May.
