Avengers 4: Is QUICKSILVER back? Star 'spotted' on set

Fans are still reeling from the catastrophic events in Avengers 3.

The death toll exceeded any expectations but now leave huge question marks hanging over what might happen in Avengers 4.

Early reports from the Marvel movie sets in Atlanta already place Thor, Captain America and Iron Man in tantalising scenes that support the building rumours that time travel and the Quantum Realm will play a major part in the plot.

This will also be good news for fans of Quicksilver after the British star who played him in Age of Ultron was “spotted” on set.

WARNING MAJOR INFINITY WAR SPOILERS

Infinity War ends with The Snap and most of the Marvel heroes wipes out of existence.

Clearly this cannot stand in Avengers 4, if only because we already know that many of them have their own film franchises lined up.

Ant Man and the Wasp will be followed by Captain Marvel before Avengers 4 hits screens next April. Both movies are expected to explore the Quantum Realm and possible time travel.

This could explain why Taylor-Johnson was apparently seen filming Avengers 4 at the same time as the leaked images of Loki, who died in Infinity War.

Spanish fan site Marvel Spoiler Oficial is announcing sightings of Quicksilver.

The article said: “More witnesses from the filming in Atlana report that they saw Aaron Taylor-Johnson on the Avengers 4 set.”

Similar reports also place Crossbones star Frank Grillo in Atlanta with the cast. The mercenary was killed in Captain America Cvil War.

The shots circulating so far of Chris Hemswoth as Thor have shown him sporting long hair which means the new scenes being filmed must take place before the events of Thor Ragarok when his famous locks are cropped off.

The pictures appear to show an embattled New York, which could tie in with the events of the first Avengers movie.

It seems increasingly likely that Avengers 4 will explore time travel or even alternate dimensions (a feature of teh Captain Marvel storylines) which will explain how characters like Quicksilver could be making a return.
