Avengers 4 LEAK: Does THIS prove Ant-Man will TIME TRAVEL back to Civil War?

With this in mind fans have been speculating that Ant-Man will time travel back, or cross the multi-verse, through previous MCU movies in the fight back against Thanos.

But what if one of those films is Captain America: Civil War?

Marvel fans will remember Cap’s third outing began with Crossbones trying to kill Steve Rogers in a suicide bombing.

However Scarlet Witch managed to contain the explosion with her powers and throw it into a nearby building.

Now it was a little odd to introduce Frank Grillo’s Crossbones only for him to suddenly die, but maybe there’s more to that scene than meets the eye.

Last year an Avengers 4 extra claimed on Reddit that they had seen “the guy who plays Crossbones” on set.

While around the same time Robert Downey Jr posted a picture of himself and fellow Avengers stars Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlet Johansson at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

Of course the cast members were in the area because they were filming Avengers 4, but among them was Grillo.

Why else would he be there unless he’d been filming Avengers 4?

After all, this comes around the same time as the extra’s claim that he was spotted on set. Surely Crossbones’ return is a dead cert now.

And let’s not forget that Avengers 4 directors the Russo brothers have teased there are clues for the film hidden in Civil War, a film they also helmed.

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
