Avengers 4 release date: When has Disney confirmed trailer release of Avengers 4?

Anticipation over the first glimpse of Avengers 4, the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War, has reached fever pitch after weeks of rumours about its release. On Sunday, Marvel Studios revealed a second trailer for Captain Marvel will drop during Monday Night football in the US on ESPN – a slot originally believed to be for Avengers 4. But as some impatient fans expressed moaned about their disappointment, Disney seemingly gave the game away on Twitter.

When has Disney confirmed release of Avengers 4?

The first trailer for Avengers 4 is believed to drop on Wednesday, December 5.

Confirmation of this came from Asad Ayaz, Disney’s President of Marketing, who liked a tweet on a Captain Marvel Twitter account.

The tweet read: “#CaptainMarvel tomorrow and #Avengers4 on Wednesday. THANK YOU MARVEL. Your true fans thank you! What a week. CCXP coming too.”

The like has now disappeared, only fuelling suggestion that the date is correct but was revealed a little too soon.

In an earlier confirmation, film writer also Daniel RPK teased the Avengers 4 trailer would be out on Wednesday after Captain Marvel’s trailer was confirmed for Monday.

He tweeted: “Ok now that it’s out I CAN tweet about it…

“Avengers 4 trailer on Wednesday morning. We’re so close. Just a little longer.”

Following this, his announcement was backed up by another movie insider.

The DisInsider Editor Skyler Shuler wrote: “Just to clarify. Monday Night: Captain Marvel. Wednesday Morning: Avengers 4. Twitter needs an edit button, lol.”

Rumours are now circulating online that the trailer itself is likely to drop at some point during an advert for Good Morning America,

The breakast show airs weekdays at 7am to 9am EST.

This would mean the trailer could be revealed any time between 12pm and 2pm GMT for UK fans.

Good Morning America is part of ABC news, which is owned by Disney, so it seems a logical choice.

And last year’s Avengers Infinity War trailer also launched during the same slot, lending further weight to the theory.

Avengers 4 will be released in the UK on April 26, 2019.
