Avengers 4 set photo LEAK: Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts CONFIRMED as Rescue?

It’s been rumoured among fans for quite some time and now looks a certainty.

Posted on Instagram is a snap of Paltrow’s Potts in purple and silver armour, standing in front of a green screen.

Fans have been quick to claim this must be her Rescue armour from the Avengers 4 set.

In Marvel Comics Potts gets her own version of the Iron Man suit and now it looks like the CEO of Stark Industries will get one in the MCU too.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Potts has worn the Iron Man armour, having used Mark 42 in Iron Man 3.

How Rescue will be used in Avengers 4 remains a mystery nonetheless.

Potts last appeared in Avengers Infinity War, right at the beginning, just before Doctor Strange recruited Iron Man to take on Thanos.

After Ebony Maw captured the bearer of the Time Stone, Tony and Spider-Man chased his ship bound for Titan into space.

The last we heard of Potts was on a phone call to Tony’s suit, demanding he return to Earth, but it suddenly cut out. After all, she is pregnant with their first child.

However following Thanos’ Snap Iron Man is currently stranded on Titan with Nebula.

No doubt he will somehow find his way back to Earth in Avengers 4, which is rumoured to be set five years after the events of Avengers Infinity War.

Nevertheless, it is currently unknown if Potts survived the Snap.

Even so, she will return somehow since Paltrow’s character is set to appear in Spider-Man Far From Home, which is set after Avengers 4.

Perhaps Rescue will only cameo at the very end of next year’s epic when the survivors presumably reverse the Snap.

But will this come at the cost of Tony’s life?

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
