Avengers 4 trailer: How likely is a Thanksgiving football launch TODAY?

A year ago next week the first trailer for Avengers Infinity War launched and now Marvel fans are waiting for the first look at its sequel. Now with three major Thanksgiving American football games today, some are wondering if the Avengers 4 trailer could, in fact, launch this evening. According to Trailer Track, a big one will air during the sporting fixtures today. The first match is at 5:30 pm GMT on CBS, the second at 9:30 pm GMT on FOX and the last at 1:20 am GMT on NBC.

It’s almost certain that the first look at The Lion King live-action remake will be this “big one”, being most likely to drop during the second game.

And Trailer Track has since tweeted: “(to get this out of the way – don’t get your A4 hopes up quite yet).”

Meanwhile Avengers Annihilation title leaker Jeremy Conrad has also affirmed this view, saying: “It’s not Avengers.”

All the evidence suggests Disney are trying to get trailers for their other future films out the way before Avengers 4’s unleashes on the internet.

Nevertheless, Conrad has previously stated his sources are pretty sure it will debut with a football game.

In a YouTube video from the beginning of the month, the MCU Cosmic editor said: “Very reliable source, who has been 100% correct on every trailer previously for me, says they’re 95% it will be on a football game.”

Conrad was quick to say it can’t be the Thanksgiving game on November 22, since Disney don’t own the network showing the sporting event.

However, there’s a couple of other obvious options, pointing out Monday Night Football on November 26 and December 2.

He even went as far as saying the Avengers 4 trailer will land at some point between those two dates.

And if it’s not a football game, Conrad reckons it will debut on Good Morning America on a Tuesday or Thursday after all.

Whatever the case, the Avengers 4 trailer is not far away at all.

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
