Avengers 4 trailer HUGE NEWS: Avengers Infinity War sequel teaser is FINALLY on the way

The sequel to Avengers 4 is released in April in the UK, but there is still no sign of the Marvel trailer.

Nevertheless, some exciting news has arrived showing it’s completed and moving forward.

Film editor Vahn Gharakhani tweeted: “Teaser… IMAX… DMR… #Avengers4.”

Marvel fans were quick to ask what film-making lingo DMR stood for.

DMR is an acronym for Digital Media Remastering, so what does this mean?

Presumably, it means the Avengers 4 trailer is completed and is currently being converted into IMAX format.

No doubt this is so it can be shown before some of Disney’s remaining releases in 2018.

These are The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Ralph Breaks The Internet and Mary Poppins Returns.

The Avengers Infinity War trailer arrived in late November 2017 before its release in April this year, so it’s unlikely it will meet The Nutcracker’s opening as November 2 is too soon.

However, Ralph Breaks The Internet arrives on November 30, which would be perfect timing for the Avengers 4 teaser to land – so that’s our best guess.

It would also then be shown with Mary Poppins Returns come Christmas.

Back in the summer Marvel boss Kevin Feige teased when the Avengers 4 title and trailer would arrive.

Speaking with Collider at the Ant-Man and the Wasp press day he said: “That’ll be after the Captain Marvel teaser probably, announcing that title.

“It’ll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film.”

Well, we’ve now had the Captain Marvel teaser, so the Avengers 4 title and trailer are next in line.

Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
