Avengers 4 TRAILER release date revealed? As rumoured 'teaser description' spreads
The sequel to Marvel‘s Infinity War is surrounded by huge hype and mystery, with reshoots currently in production.
It’s not due out in cinemas until next spring, but could a trailer be released as soon as next week?
That’s what one rumour claims – along with the idea that Elizabeth Olsen will introduce it on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night chat show.
An exciting idea, but sadly it’s unlikely to be true.
As confirmed by Trailer Track, Olsen is not booked in for Fallon next week.
One MCU star is – Anthony Mackie tomorrow (October 12) – but this is far more likely to be in support of The Hate U Give.
Amid a trailer description doing the rounds on social media, the site tweeted: “The trailer description isn’t real and Elizabeth Olsen isn’t on next week’s schedule.
“The first #Avengers4 [trailer] is most likely, like Infinity War, arriving late November.”
A user on Reddit claimed to have unveiled the trailer description.
“The trailer starts off showing the damaged Infinity Gauntlet in a field on the farm planet,” they wrote, according to We Got This Covered.
“As the camera focuses in on the Gauntlet, we hear Tony’s voice: ‘We were destined to lose.’
“Epic music score starts. The Quinjet is shown landing in a Wakandan wasteland as we hear Steve Rogers say: ‘We have come so far.’
“Tony and Nebula step off the jet as the remaining Avengers approach.
“Steve has a look of relief and says: ‘Tony’. Tony, seemingly defeated, shakes his head and gives a friendly smirk back to Cap. Marvel Studios Logo appears.”
The description goes on to describe the appearance of the Quantum Realm, plus Valkyrie and evidence of the much-discussed time jump.
Alas, that entire description seems to have been debunked.
Avengers 4 is out on April 26, 2019 in the UK.
