Avengers 4 trailer TONIGHT during American Football? Plus LION KING, Frozen 2 trailer news

Forget Thanos and his fancy glove, Avengers fans themselves might ‘snap’ soon if they don’t get the first Avengers 4 teaser trailer. Many reports had pointed to tonight as the obvious time. There are three US Football matches on television with enormous built-in audiences ripe to lap up major movie trailers. Would Marvel really release the first look at the Infinity War sequel with so much going on? 

The answer is almost certainly ‘No.’

Numerous commentators are all pointing towards next Wednesday, most likely during Good Morning America.

LIghts, Camera, Pod tweeted: “There’s going to be something pretty significant dropping tomorrow during the NFL on FOX Thanksgiving game that will have Twitter (not just movie Twitter) PRETTY EXCITED.”

Asked to give confirm, Jeremy Conrad at CosmicBookNews added: “Yes, but it’s not Avengers.”

So what is it?

Many of the same sites are all predicting we will get the first ever look at the upcoming Disney live action reboot of The Lion King, instead.

The movie stars Donald Glover and Beyonce and hits cinemas next July. There are even excited rumours Beyonce might show up at one of the games, just in time to focus attention on her movie. 

Fans are in agreement with numerous Lion King memes and tweets flooding the internet. One of the games will be screened by Fox, which is part of Disney. The game also sits comfortably mid-afternoon, when US families will have finished their traditional Thanksgiving meal.

The three matches will air at 12:30 pm ET/5:30pm UK on CBS, 4:30pm ET/9:30pm UK on FOX and 8:20pm ET/1:20am UK on NBC. 

There are a few other possibilitiues for what mights how tonight.

One thing is sure, it will be something resolutely family-friendly.

The Frozen 2 trailer has been rumoured for a while. There is also an outside chance the Men in Black reboot with Chris Hemsworth might drop its first teaser.
