Avengers 4: WHO will use each Infinity Stone? Tony Stark must make the biggest SACRIFICE

How can anyone reverse The Snap?

The power of all six Infinity Stones was used to erase half of all life across the universe, including many of the most powerful heroes who could have helped in the upcoming battle to put all of existence to rights.

We know that the Infinity Gauntlet was badly damagaed or even destoyed in the process, but we also know that there is still an archetype and mold with Eitri.

There are also rumours Tony Stark will build something similar of his own, perhaps with the help of Hank Pym and those clever Wakandans. 

Will Star-Lord take up the Power Stone once more and who will Tony Stark sacrifice for the Soul Stone? 

No living, mortal beings we have seen so far can hold an Infinity Stone for long without being destroyed. Captain Marvel may change that, but that is still to be revealed.

Many of the vessels which contained the Stones have been destroyed (devastatingly in the case of poor Vision). However, every sign points to time travel or alternate timelines/dimensions in Avengers 4.

Reddit user Mr Sparkle92 says: “The heroes will conclude that the only way to defeat Thanos and ensure he never uses the stones for The Snap is to collect them all for themselves and use them to defeat him.

The following characters must each take up one of the Stones.  

Even if a new Gauntlet is created, it can only be used once. Someone must hold and protect each individual stone before that, and then moving forward into Phase 4 of the MCU.

Logically Peter Quill will once again have the Power Stone, and keep to it this time. He may even have greater control after awakening the powers of his father, Ego.

Captain Marvel is most likely to wield the Reality Stone, since she is known to have experience with alternate realities and dimensions. 

Thor will take up the Space Stone once it has been seized from Loki.

If somehow the living Avengers are able to go back in time or to alternate dimensions then, hopefully, Vision will be alive once more and still linked to the Mind Stone. Similarly, Doctor Strange will, once again, be in control of the Time Stone.

This leaves the Soul Stone.

It appears this gem rarely leaves its hiding place for long, since the price for its use is so high.

There is currently one prevailing theory as to who will use it against Thanos, and who they will sacrifice to do so. 

Mr Sparkle 92 represents a common voice which suggests Tony Stark will be the one to unite all the stones, and use the Soul Stone himself.

Many think he will sacrifice Steve Rogers (Captain America). Despite their feud, Stark idolised Rogers from young age and loves everything he represents, even as he himself is not able to live up to those ideals. 

A more tantalising prospect is that Tony will be the one sacrificed. But who loves him enough to do so? Pepper or Spider-Man are the two prime candidates…
