Avengers and Colombiana star Zoe Saldana 'OFFENDED' co-star wouldn't do THIS for sex scene
Saldana is about to kick some ass across the galaxy in Avengers Infinity War later this month.
She has constantly played women who are not afraid to go for what they want and displayed this in 2011’s action-packed thriller Colombiana, which is back on TV tonight.
The actress was “offended”, though, while filming the raunchy love scenes because her handsome co-star refused to perform an intimate act.
Watch the clip and you will see that Saldana took what she wanted anyway.
Saldana said: “I remember at one point in between takes I’m like, ‘You know Michael, you can slip your tongue in my throat…’ and he was like, ‘No, I don’t do that. In 25 years of a career, I’ve never slipped my tongue in someone’s mouth.’ He was sweating profusely.
“I was offended… I’m a girl and no matter how you think about it, if a guy doesn’t want to kiss you, (you think) ‘It’s because of me’.”
Vartan had only just married that year, so perhaps he was being more careful than usual but Saldana didn’t let that stop her.
WATCH THEM IN ACTION NEXT:
Saldana added: “I was like, ‘Is it OK if I slip mine in yours?’ and he said yes, so I did a lot of that.”
Vartan’s reticense is strange since he had a ring of leading roles in romantic comedies, including Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore and 2005’s Monster-in-Law with Jennifer Lopez.
The Hollywood hunk previously dated Alias co-star Jennifer Garner but in 2011 married Lauren Skaar, a woman he met outside a Whole Foods store in LA, shortly before filming Colombiana.
The actor probably should have just kissed Saldana properly anyway, since his marriage was short-lived and Saar filed for divorce in 2004.
Saldana, however, has gone from strength to strength in Hollywood with starring roles in teh Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises.
COLOMBIANA IS ON CHANNEL 4 AT 11PM ON SATURDAY APRIL 21
