Avengers deaths: Is Loki secretly still ALIVE? Avengers 4 star directly replies THIS

Nobody is ready to say goodbye to Loki and it looks like we may not have to.

Numerous reports and leaked photographs from Avengers 4 have already confirmed that he will appear in scenes set during the attack on New York from the first Avengers movie. But that is a moment set in the past, whether it is shown as a flashback, time travel or B.A.R.F. scene.

What about the present day, after the Snap?

Is Loki really dead? One of the movie’s biggest stars just answered the question with no hesitation.

Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen recently joined in a fan Q&A and were put on the spot by a particulary persistent and perceptive young fan. 

He brought up one of the most troubling gaps in the movie when Loki is off screen just before his dramatic final moments. What was he doing at the back of the Asgardian ship? Many think he was casting a spell, or using the Space Stone.

Hiddleston laughs when he realises he will have to answer the young fan, but Olsen beats him to it.

As the audience reacts with joy, she says a definitive ‘Yes!”

Hiddleston has been asked this question so many times, he is a little more circumspect and finally replies: “Jacob, your guess is as good as mine.”

The fans also ask who would win on a fight between Loki and Scarlet Witch. Marvel readers know that in one recent comicbook storyline, Scarlett Witch wipes out half the universe, driven crazy by the loss of Vision, and Loki defeats her.

Hiddleston says: “My point is Scarlet Witch has one of the Infinity Stones almost as part of her being, and Loki has only ever wielded an Infinity Stone… But he is a god.”

And he has certainly never let anyone forget it.

Whether Loki comes back or not in Avengers 4, fans have plenty more to look forward to in his own standalone mini-series. which has already been announced by Marvel.
