Avengers Endgame: Chris Hemsworth reveals ‘Fat Thor’ SHOCKED his kids – ‘They HATED it’

Thor’s weight gain in Avengers Endgame was quite the change for the Asgardian King. And according, to Hemsworth himself, his kids were pretty freaked out by it. Speaking with Extra while promoting Men In Black International, the actor said of his ‘Fat Thor’: “They hated it. They really didn’t like me being like that. They’re like, ‘When does he change back? What’s he doing then?’”

Hemsworth elaborated: “I say hate it…they were quite shocked”.

Before he clarified that his daughter actually preferred ‘Fat Thor’ after all.

The star continued: “I said, ‘Which did you like better?’ and she’s like, ‘The fat one.’

“And I sad, ‘Oh really?’ And she goes, ‘Yeah, it’s funny.’ But she didn’t think I’d want to hear that.”

He added: “I was like, ‘No, I like that version of him too.’

“But initially, they were like, they didn’t really know what to do it with it. But afterwards, they were like, ‘Oh, that’s kind of fun. It’s cool.’

“I think they just wanted to see the hammer and the flying and all the cool stuff.”

Last week Hemsworth mocked his ‘Fat Thor’ by sharing a joke weight gain ad.

The Aussie star shared a fake magazine page mocked up by Fandom.

The advert sees “Fat Thor” as the cover star of “Asgard’s No 1 selling weight-gain regimen”

A before and after picture shows a topless muscular Thor turning into his chunkier self.

Thor is expected to return in future MCU movies like Guardians of Galaxy Vol 3 and maybe even Thor 4.
