Avengers Endgame directors announce live-streamed watchalong TONIGHT with special guest
With the world being in lockdown, movie fans have been taking part in watch parties with each other. While filmmakers and stars have even live-streamed commentaries like Taika Waititi on Thor Ragnarok and Pierce Brosnan on James Bond movie Goldeneye. And now Avengers Endgame directors The Russo Brothers have announced one for their Marvel epic tonight.
The Russo Brothers posted a snap of Thor’s hammer Mjolnir from the final battle scene of Avengers Endgame on their Instagram account.
Joe and Anthony wrote: “In honor of the 1 year anniversary of Avengers: Endgame, re-watch the film along with us TOMORROW (4/27) starting at 4pmPT/7pmET.”
For UK fans that means a midnight until 3am viewing of the three-hour epic.

“We may even have a special guest popping by on IG…
“Join us by using #AvengersAssemble. Who’s in?”
Just who could the special guest be?
Which Avengers star will be the special guest tonight?
Well, maybe Chris Hemsworth considering the shot of Mjolnir?

Black Widow was originally set to release this weekend but has been pushed back to October 28 in the UK.
The MCU prequel set between Captain America Civil War and Avengers Infinity War will be the only film in the franchise to hit cinemas in 2020.
And that’s assuming the movie isn’t delayed again into 2021 if cinemas aren’t open in the autumn.
Meanwhile, 2021 will be the first time four movies in the franchise have released in the same year.
The Eternals kicks off 2021 for the MCU in February 12, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings follows on May 7, while the untitled Spider-Man 3 lands on July 16 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrives on November 5.
Meanwhile, 2022 has four slots too, with Thor Love and Thunder arriving on February 18, Black Panther 2 on May 6 and Captain Marvel 2 landing in July.
Additionally, there is an unknown film set for October 2022, which could well be Ant-Man 3.
Let’s just hope the 2021 movies get shooting soon when its safe out there or it’s possible we could see further delays.
