Avengers Endgame: EVERYTHING you thought about Spider-Man Far From Home trailer is CHANGED

Marvel fans always knew the surviving superheroes would try to resurrect their fallen friends in Avengers: Endgame. Whether they would succeed or not remained a question, but many presumed the snap would be undone. Not least of all because many upcoming solo movies and sequels depended on it, like Spider-Man Far From Home. Warning: spoilers for Endgame ahead.

Everything you thought about Spider-Man Far From Home trailer has changed after Endgame

Sony released the first trailer for Spider-Man Far From Home before Avengers: Endgame was released.

This caused confusion amongst fans. If you remember, Spider-Man was turned to dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

Yet in the trailer, Peter Parker was alive and kicking on a field trip to Europe with his schoolmates.

However, most of what we may have assumed about the trailer could now be wrong.

The beginning of the trailer opens with Parker attending a charity event for a homeless charity.

Taking into account Endgame finished with the dusted half of the population returning, it makes sense the present day would be facing a huge homelessness crisis.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed Peter Parker’s passport had no year issue date, which makes sense if Marvel was trying to keep the five year Endgame time jump under wraps.

Parker’s hesitance to don his spidey-suit in the Far From Home trailer also makes more sense in light of Endgame’s final moments.

Spider-Man’s mentor Iron Man died right in front of him, giving Parker another loss to mourn.

Nick Fury’s interest in Spider-Man is also given an added depth.

With the original generation of Avengers either dead or living in an alternate timeline, Fury could be attempting to gather a new generation of heroes to form the New Avengers.

Avengers: Endgame is now playing in cinemas.

Spider-Man Far From Home is out in cinemas on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
