Avengers Endgame: Is THIS ‘dead’ character ALIVE after shock moment? (Spoilers)

As Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Scott Lang set about trying to intercept and take the Tesseract, so they can bring it back to the present day, things go awry when Loki takes it – and promptly vanishes.

Fans have been asking if that leaves the door open for Loki – in his 2012 form – to make an appearance further down the line.

Where did he go with the Tesseract? Does it have any knock-on effects going forward? If there are any knock-on effects, would Tony, Steve or Scott have realised and done something about it?

Fans will have to debate the science among themselves for the time being.

AVENGERS ENDGAME: THE EXPRESS.CO.UK VERDICT

One possibility is that it merely opens the door for Loki’s TV series.

Hiddleston is known to be reprising the role in a new show that Marvel are currently developing for their streaming service, Disney+.

Michael Waldron was reported to be in charge of the pilot episode, which is not forecast to be ready for quite some time yet.

Hiddleston confirmed on Twitter last November: “Loki. More stories to tell.

“More mischief to make. More to come.”

Wanda and Vision are also known to be getting their own show, though presumably that will be set prior to the events of Infinity War when Vision was brutally killed.

Disney tweeted earlier this month: “.@Marvel fans, unite! Elizabeth Olsen and @Paul_Bettany star as Wanda Maximoff and The Vision in a new #DisneyPlus series, WandaVision.”
