Avengers Endgame theory: The WILD THEORY Avengers will pull an 'Inception' to beat Thanos

There are only a few details known about Avengers: Endgame so far but one thing fans seem assured of is their favourite fallen heroes will return and Thanos will be thwarted. But how? One new, and so far popular, theory on Reddit takes a leaf out of the page of the Inception handbook.

The Reddit user referenced a specific moment from 2010’s Inception, saying: “Remember how going into another level of subconscious meant that one person had to remain behind to either drive the van or hold off projections?

“I thought it was pretty cool how you had 3 different characters all in their own battle yet ultimately striving for the same goal.

“This got me thinking about how Endgame might do the whole undoing of the snap.”

According to the theory, the events shown in the trailers, clips, and leaks so far will all happen at once.

One leak reported Hawkeye, aka Ronin, is carrying a bag with the Infinity Gauntlet and a few of the stones inside.

This was based on a low-quality video which leaked featuring Hawkeye carrying the bag before being thrown across the room through a glass panel.

Later leaks claimed the Avengers would move against Thanos at the beginning of the film but will be defeated again.

This leak also claimed Thanos will destroy the stones, so no one can have them again.

In the Good Morning America clip, the Avengers and Captain Marvel are looking at what appears to be a hologram of Titan 2, readying themselves for a fight.

Another trailer shows Tony going back in time, we assume, to the Battle of New York to meets the 2012 Captain America.

This is based on the prevailing theory that the latest trailer hid the time travel fact by blacking out Captain America’s suit.

Given the trailer hasn’t given viewers a chronology, the Reddit user presumes all of these, or many of these, happen at the same time.

Of course, this theory rests on the fact that the Avengers split up – whether they do so intentionally or accidentally.

The events would take place simultaneously through the time vortexes opened up by the Quantum Realm.

Which is where the white suits we saw in the trailer come into play.

While there are no facts to support this ‘Inception’ theory, it is not more bizarre than many other theories.

Whether this or any other theories come to fruition remains to be seen.
