Avengers Endgame TRAILER: Captain Marvel JOINS survivors – plus HUGE Iron Man reveal

The movie is released in April and will see the aftermath of last year’s shocking Avengers: Infinity War – in which Thanos wiped out half of all living things across the universe. Now, in this latest trailer, we see Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) joining the line-up for the first time – after she was seen in the mid-credits scene of her own solo movie earlier this month. With the countdown on until Endgame is released, how can our heroes defeat Thanos once and for all? Watch above.

The trailer also seemingly confirms that Tony Stark DOES make it back to Earth in one piece – as he and Nebula are seen together in those much-discussed white suits.

The initial trailers had left his fate up in the air, or rather in space: he was seen adrift, recording a heartbreaking goodbye message, presumably for Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).

It’s been speculated time and time again that the white outfits we see here will be for the Quantum Realm – but this is still unconfirmed.

The teaser mixes footage from the past decade of Marvel film-making, culminating in brief new shots of Endgame – driving home the fact that this really will be a definitive conclusion to the current phase of the MCU.

“It seems like a thousand years ago, I fought my way out of that cave – became my own man,” Tony says in voiceover.

“Realised I loved you… I know I said no more surprises but I was really hoping to pull off one last one.”

An old clip of Peggy Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) voice also plays – saying: “The world has changed. None of us can go back.

“All we can do is our best and sometimes the best we can do is to start over.”

She has frequently been rumoured to be returning for Endgame, but has played down the speculation – is this a sign that we could see her again after all? Particularly amid rumours that our heroes will be time travelling back through their past experiences?

We still have a little longer left to find out – but for now a new poster has also been released (above), in which all of the Infinity War fatalities are completely missing.

How the likes of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, King T’Challa, Star-Lord and more can return remains to be seen.
