Avengers: Endgame will be the longest running Marvel movie to date. With 10 years of storytelling to wrap up, it’s no wonder the runtime is just over three hours. Though to say fans are excited about the final chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 is a huge understatement, the lengthy runtime has given some fans pause.

When is the best moment to go to the toilet?

The Avengers cast has some sage advice for fans concerned about when to take their bathroom break.

Don’t.

Some of the Avengers assembled on Jimmy Kimmel to discuss the upcoming movie when Kimmel asked the question.

Scarlet Johansson, who plays Black Widow, relayed a message from co-star Mark Ruffalo (who plays the Hulk).

Rudd said: “Not having seen the film, I could say get one of those giant tubs of popcorn and then just lower it under the seat in the middle of the movie and then you don’t have to get up.”

As hilariously outlandish as these suggestions seem, Marvel boss Kevin Feige himself has hinted something similar.

Feige said: “What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be.

“And we are not fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason.

“We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end. Movies that you want to see again as soon as it’s over.

“And movies that you just don’t ever find a good time to run out to the bathroom. That’s when a movie’s working.

“And if a movie doesn’t feel like that to us we continue to trim, we continue to shape, we continue to bring that time down. “That happened to a certain extent on this movie.”

The cast and creators themselves are suggesting not to leave the cinema, so you might want to forgo a large drink this time.

Though the official runtime has been confirmed as just over three hours, there will undoubtedly be a post-credits scene also worth sticking around for.

Avengers: Endgame will be the last movie to feature some of fans’ most beloved superheroes.

Many speculate this will be the final outing for Captain America, Iron Man, and many other first-generation Avengers.

But it’s never safe to say never when it comes to the MCU.
