Avengers Infinity War: Chris Evans teases NOT done with Captain America after Avengers 4

He’s considered one of the most likely characters to kick the bucket in Avengers Infinity War or Avengers 4.

And last month Evans told The New York Times he would be done playing Captain America after the 2019 sequel.

He said: “You want to get off the train before they push you off.”

This led to mass speculation that Steve Rogers would indeed die in the Marvel epic. However, appearing on Good Morning America yesterday, the star teased he may actually not be.

Evans said: “Well, the contracts done. A lot of our contracts are through.

“Myself, [Robert] Downey, [Chris] Hemsworth, we all kind of started roughly at the same time.

“I mean, I think we all through Avengers 4 kind of wrap it up.

“But at this point I don’t know what’s next, but yeah by 2019 that’s it… “Well, we’ll see.”

After all similar things were said about Star Wars The Last Jedi, which received a very mixed reaction from the fans.

Meanwhile a number of critics have said while Avengers Infinity War is one of the very best Marvel movies, Black Panther is still the best.

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on Thursday, while Avengers 4 will follow on April 26, 2019.
