Avengers Infinity War DEATHS – Every major character who kicks the bucket REVEALED

A month ago Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr teased Avengers Infinity War would see “heads roll.”

With the release of the Marvel epic today, it comes as no surprise that he wasn’t kidding.

The following are those major players who kicked the bucket in Avengers Infinity War.

WARNING UNBELIEVABLY MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD

At Disney D23 last summer, Hulk star Mark Ruffalo let slip: “Like every other Marvel movie, it doesn’t end well for the superheroes. Wait until you see this next one – everybody dies!”

At the interview Don Cheadle, who plays War Machine, responded, “Dude!”, before Ruffalo (now looking worried) said, “Not everybody… can we rewind that part?”

The Hulk star asked, “Am I in trouble?”, to which Cheadle replied, “A little.”

And boy Ruffalo wasn’t kidding.

Heimdall
Idris Elba’s Asgardian is finished off by Corvus Glaive after sending Hulk back to Earth on the Bifrost.

Loki
Having surrendered the Space Stone to Thanos to spare Thor’s life, Loki attempts to kill the mad Titan but fails.

Thanos strangles Tom Hiddleston’s god of mischief before saying: “No resurrections this time.”

Gamora
In order to obtain the Soul Stone Thanos has to sacrifice someone he truly loves, so reluctantly throws the Guardian of the Galaxy, his adopted daughter, to her death.

Ebony Maw
Defeated by Iron Man and Spider-Man, as they rescue Doctor Strange, the member of the Black Order is ejected into space.

Proxima Midnight
Killed in the Battle of Wakanda

Cull Obsidian
Killed in the Battle of Wakanda

Corvus Glaive
Killed in the Battle of Wakanda

Vision
Technically he dies twice. In order to stop Thanos obtaining the Mind Stone he asks Scarlet Witch to destroy it, which in the process kills him.

However Thanos uses the Time Stone to bring him back to life, before plucking it out of his forehead, killing him instantly.

HAVING OBTAINED ALL SIX INFINITY STONES, THANOS CLICKS HIS FINGERS AND HALF THE UNIVERSE TURNS TO ASH INCLUDING:

Bucky, Scarlet Witch, Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Groot, Falcon, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Maria Hill, Nick Fury.

But what about THESE other characters? Did they survive Thanos’ half the universe genocide?

Wong
After Ebony Maw captures Doctor Strange, Iron Man and Spider-Man, Wong tells Bruce Banner he will stay behind to protect the New York Sanctum Sanctorum and that’s the last we see of him in Avenger Infinity War.

Presumably he did survive, as with Doctor Strange gone he’ll be of crucial help in Avengers 4 – especially in terms of the multi-verse.

The Collector
Benicio Del Toro’s Taneleer Tivan appears in Avengers Infinity War, being tortured by Thanos for the whereabouts of the Reality Stone.

However it’s soon revealed this is Thanos using that very stone to create a false reality.

So The Collector was never there, but presumably he was murdered when the Mad Titan arrived on Knowhere since its all in ruins.

Shuri
Black Panther’s genius sister attempted to safely remove the Mind Stone from Vision’s head, but when Thanos clicked his fingers she wasn’t shown surviving or dying.

Again like Wong, her knowledge would serve well in the Avengers 4 fight back.
