Avengers Infinity War will SMASH box office and could BEAT Star Wars

Thanos isn’t just coming. He doesn’t just demand your silence and avoidance of all spoilers. He not just going to try and kill half of all life across the universe.

No, Thanos is also on course to become the biggest box office titan of all time. This Titan may be Mad, but he’s no fool when it comes to giving audiences what they want.

After shockingly low early box office predictions, Avengers Infinity War is now tracking to be the biggest Marvel movie of all time and could even do the unthinkable and pass The Force Awakens.

You won’t belive how much money it is expected to take.

Just two weeks ago Variety reported that industry experts predicted Avengers 3 would make around $200million on its opening weekend in the US. Disney, apparently, was cautiously hoping for $175million.

As the film opens worldwide, those figures have bitten the dust faster than many of the beloved superheroes are expected to in the movie itself.

Variety is now confidently saying Infinity War will take at least $225million.

Marvel’s biggest movies so far would be left far behind. Black Panther opened to $202million and the current record-holder is The Avengers with $207.4 million, followed by Avengers: Age of Ultron on $191.3 million.

Across the entire box office, Star Wars: The Force Awakens reigns supreme like Snoke with $248 million and remains the all-time top, followed by Star Wars: The Last Jedi on $220 million.

Can Infinity War beat The Force Awakens?

It seemed impossible, but the unexpected spectacular success of Black Panther will give it a running start, boosted by strong early reviews and unprecedented fan anticipation. 

All will be revealed this weekend.
