Avengers SHOCK: Dave Bautista unsure of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 return at all
Since James Gunn was fired as director, the 49-year-old Drax star has been very vocal in his disapproval of Disney’s controversial move.
Bautista has even said how he’ll ask to be released from his contract to star in Marvel‘s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 if Gunn’s script isn’t used.
Now, appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, the actor went a step further, casting doubts on if he’ll return at all.
He said: “They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely.”
The actor added: “To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney. I’m not afraid to admit the way I feel.”
Host Ross replied: “That’s quite unusual in Hollywood.”
To which Bautista said: “I don’t think I’m your typical Hollywood guy.”
The star has also teased his involvement in Avengers 4.
He added: “It’s comforting, but at the same time I felt a sense of guilt because I don’t know if I was supposed to say anything.
“And nobody told me not to say anything.”
So could Avengers 4 be the last time we see Drax in an MCU movie? Fans will have to wait and see.
Avengers 4 is released in UK vine ams on April 26, 2019.
