The 70th British Academy Film and Television Arts Awards has taken over Royal Albert Hall.

Hosted by Stephen Fry, the BAFTA ceremony will take place at 7pm and will be broadcast on BBC One at 9pm.

The event has drawn the celebrities of the moment from all around the world.

But some of the stars have stood out on the red carpet for the wrong reasons.

Anya Taylor-Joy has been nominated for the EE Rising Star Award.

But the 20-year-old Split actress missed the mark on the red carpet with a garish blue gown.

The cake-like tiered ensemble featured powder blue puffy sleeves with a clashing embellished front section.

Scottish radio host Edith Bowman turned heads with an unflattering multi-patterned long sleeved dress.

The floor length gown was too long for her petit stature, dragging along the carpet.

Edith’s volumised hair style clashed with her already very busy outfit.

Tiziana Rocca sported a sheer electric blue blouse with a glaring multi-colour skirt.

The actress and publicist flashed a plunging black bra underneath her see-through outfit.

Irish actress and model Caitriona Balfe wore a blue, yellow and pink floor length gown that hung loosely off her slim frame.
