While he has finally seen Love Actually for the first time.

The Prime Minister famously shot a parody of a scene from the movie for the Christmas 2019 general election.

The government source said: “It’s a good time to fill in some of his cultural gaps.

“It might seem odd but he has never seen Home Alone. He prefers Greek poetry, doesn’t he?”

Last year, during the Tory leadership hustings, Boris revealed his favourite films and movie scene.

During one interview, the future PM was asked what made him laugh.

It was then that he revealed how Peter Seller’s The Pink Panther and Vince Vaughn’s Dodgeball were some of his comedy favourites.

He said: “The Pink Panther, I have to admit, I think is incredibly funny.”

Boris continued: “It’s fantastically funny, I almost retch with laughter when watching the Pink Panther.

“Dodgeball – brilliant movie.”

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s favourite movie scene will probably raise some eyebrows.

The 55-year-old admitted: “The multiple retribution killings at the end of The Godfather.”

Meanwhile, after Boris won a large majority in the 2019 general election, Queen guitarist Brian May called on fans to back the PM.

He wrote on Instagram: “Whether or not we like Boris Johnson, or his party, or the process that has given him this victory, matters very little. The people of this country have now spoken in a very decisive way.

“We have in effect a new prime minister, now elected by the people as well as his party, no longer insecure, perched precariously on the edge of a cliff. Boris Johnson’s massive majority in Parliament will give him the power to do more or less whatever he wants in the coming 5 years.

“Whether or not we are impressed by his record to date, he now has the opportunity to make a new start from a position of stability and strength. The decent thing for US to do now is give him the benefit of the doubt. The gracious thing to do is congratulate him and pray that he will become the honest, truthful, courageous, compassionate statesman that we all want him to be.”
