On October 11, El Camino: A Movie hits Netflix. Set right after the show’s last episode Felina, the film will follow Jesse as a fugitive after he drove off from the Nazi HQ he was held captive at. Now Aaron Paul has shared another teaser of his character’s return. On Instagram, the 40-year-old wrote: “Hello old friend. Times are about to get a little more rough for you. October 11th. Netflix. #Elcamino.”

The picture accompanying it is one of Jesse in the desert holding his keys in his knuckles.

By the looks of it this is from Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 5, Shotgun.

In this episode, Mike makes Jesse come collect money from drop-offs with him.

However, the meth cook is sceptical that Gus’ henchman intends to kill him, so locks his key into knuckles as a weapon just in case.

Of course, it turns out that he doesn’t need to attack Mike, as he’s really being tried out as one of Gus’ men, moving him away from the meth lab and Walter White.

Interestingly, Paul posted a similar image of Jesse with the phrase “Hello old friend” to tease El Camino just three days ago.

The still of Jesse here saw him with a shaved head, dressed in his yellow meth lab jumpsuit and wearing headphones.

This is a still from Breaking Bad season 4 episode 4, Bullet Points, when Jesse was still working in Gus’ meth lab with Walt.

Specifically, this isn’t long after Jesse murdered Gale, and the character was going through something of an existential crisis.

Notably, the two stills of Jesse that Paul has shared in the last week have been just one episode apart, but it remains to be seen if there’s any significance to that.

However, unlike the first teaser with Skinny Pete, there’s no new footage for El Camino, but a three-minute Breaking Bad recap of Jesse’s story.

Titled Enchanted and featuring the music of Chloe X Halle, the short starts with the scene late in Breaking Bad when Jesse made a confession tape to the DEA.

As Jesse gets emotional, Hank says: “Just tell us everything you remember. Any business dealings, any personal dealings, any criminal activity you were a witness or a party to. Anything and everything. Just tell us your story.”

The rest of the footage briefly recounts his whole story from the beginning of Breaking Bad up to his escape in Felina.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie streams on Netflix on October 11, 2019.
