Brigitte Macron arrives in St Petersburg in slinky black dress

Brigitte Macron, 65, landed in St. Petersburg this afternoon giving the Russians a taste of her famous French style.

Teetering down the steps of their private plane, Brigitte showed off her tanned, toned legs in a daring black mini dress, which she paired with sky-high black court shoes.

Despite the mild weather, she accessorised the elegant woolen mini with a beige trench coat, unbuttoned to show off her svelte physique.

Brigitte carried a classic, black leather tote bag in one arm, with the other linked around her husband, French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron’s arm.

The French power couple are in the Russian city ahead of the International Economic Forum.

Brigitte showed off plenty of skin as emerged from her husband Emmanuel Macron’s private Airbus, with her tanned skin glowing against the grey runway.

She wore her hair down in her signature volumes look, blow-dried to perfection with her fringe framing her face.

Matching her dark-hued dress, Brigitte opted for a sultry smoky eye, enhancing the sexy look with barely-there foundation and a nude lip.

The First Lady kept her accessories simple donning a stack of diamond rings on her left hand, matching the timeless look.

Brigitte was glowing as she smiled and laughed with people on the runway, one of whom was gifting her a beautiful bunch of pink-hued flowers.

In town for the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, an annual Russian business event for the economic sector, the world’s eyes will be on the French Presidential couple.

The trip is set to strengthen relations with France and Russia, with President Macron hoping to find common ground with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

But the importance of the trip was not weighing down Brigitte, as she beamed with happiness on the runway.

Brigitte is no stranger to political affairs, recently hosting French-Moroccan activist Latifa Ibn Ziaten at the Elysee Palace in Paris.

For the activist’s visit, Macron dressed in casual business attire, showing off her famous legs in a pair of drainpipe jeans.

An advocate for classic tailoring and a simple colour palette, she paired the monochrome ensemble with a pair of navy silk court shoes.

Perhaps her husband’s greatest asset with political relationships, Brigitte also has a friendly relationship with German leader Angela Merkel, 63.

She was spotted happily chatting with the Angela as the two posed for cameras on a recent trip to Germany.

Again flaunting her endless legs, Brigitte donned a powder pink mini skirt and blazer, reminiscent of another famous First Lady, Jackie Kennedy.

Brigitte also recently joined her husband Emmanuel on a state visit to the White House. Meeting with the Trump’s, Brigitte again opted for a Chanel-esque white mini skirt and blazer combination.
