Brigitte Macron was pictured today looking her usual stylish self.

The fashionable 65-year-old, who is the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, 40, is known for her impeccable fashion choices.

The French First lady wore a chic outfit for her meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris.

She donned a pair of navy slim fitting trousers and a coordinating suit jacket with gold buttons.

Underneath her smart jacket she wore a high-neck crisp white shirt which also had gold buttons and details.

Mum-of-three Brigitte completed the look with a pair of on trend velvet shoes and a delicate gold bracelet.

She wore her blonde hair in its signature bob style.

Brigitte was photographed welcoming Akie Abe, the wife of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, to the official residence of the President of France.

The smiling pair posed for pictures before heading inside for their meeting.

Akie Abe, 56, wore a colour-coordinated outfit of navy blue, but opted for a skirt instead of trousers.

She was greeted on the steps of the palace by the French President’s wife.
