Brigitte Macron keeps slim figure under wraps in smart navy jacket for visit to museum

Brigitte Macron, 65, and her President husband Emmanuel Macron, 40, were out and about in Paris today to visit the modern art museum in the city.

The French First Lady looked as stylish as ever in a smart, longline navy jacket to shield her from the cold air.

However, she braved the cold on her legs by opting for a mid-length dress beneath her coat.

Completing the look with a warm navy scarf and chic leather gloves to match, Brigitte looked as fashionable as always.

She styled her blow-dried blonde locks into a voluminous ‘do with a subtle wave to frame her face.

Brigitte showed off a radiant glow with a sweep of bronzer all over her features, and a smudged line of kohl around her eyes.

The 65 year old’s dress was a grey and navy pattern which fell just above her knees.

Once inside, Brigitte removed her scarf to reveal her elegant dress beneath, displaying her slim figure in the form-fitting ensemble.

Highlighting her toned pins, the First Lady completed her get-up with a pointed pair of navy high heels.

Brigitte and Emmanuel met with Romanian president Klaus Iohannis and his wife Carmen in Paris.

The Romanian president is currently on a state visit to France.

The foursome were pictured walking through the museum in high spirits, before sitting down to listen to a speech.

Brigitte’s ensemble was far more wintry than her Romanian counterpart Carmen’s, who opted for a sleek bright white jacket.

Carmen left her coat unbuttoned to reveal her vibrant blue dress beneath as they walked through the centre.

She also accessorised with a small nude clutch bag while Brigitte chose to leave her accessories at home today.

However, the mother of three did have a number of rings on her fingers, with her dazzling engagement ring in full view.

Despite the array of jewellery on her hands, it was Brigitte’s hair which took centre stage.

It’s the second time this month Brigitte has sported such a bouncy blow dry, after visiting a secondary school in France on 15 November with a similarly voluminous ‘do.

However, on the previous occasion she sported the hairstyle with a casual outfit of denim jeans and a navy shirt.

She covered this with a simple navy silk blazer, worn open.

She also did not seem to be carrying a handbag – usually Brigitte favours Louis Vuitton bags when out and about.
