Camilla Duchess of Cornwall wears powder blue ensemble for third appearance of the week
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrived to meet volunteers working with children in Gloucester, in what is turning out to be a jam-packed week for the royal.
It might be just days after the Royal Wedding between her step son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but Camilla Parker Bowles is already back to her royal duties.
Carrying out her role as Patron of Beanstalk, the Duchess of Cornwall met reading volunteers, but not all eyes were on the books.
Camilla looked radiant, contrasting with the grey skies in a elegant powder-blue blazer with matching knee-length skirt, accentuating her tanned skin.
The skirt showed off off the Duchess’ more playful side, with pleats cut along the line of the skirt, wistfully floating in the wind.
She paired the the look with classic tan-coloured court shoes, carrying a comfortable heel for a full day of meeting and greeting.
Dressing up the more casual take on a skirt suit, Camilla wore two stunning dragonfly broaches on her left lapel.
She wore her hair in her signature bouncy blow-out, beautifully feathered with her fridge swept to the side.
A fan of the natural look, Camilla wore barely-there makeup to match her striking skirt-suit, with just a flick of mascara and natural lip floss.
Along with the striking dragon fly design, the Duchess of Cornwall complemented her more natural look with lots of jewellery.
Drop pearls with a detailed fastening hung down around her ears, matched with a giant silver ring and gold bracelet covered in gemstones and trinkets. Possibly a sentimental piece.
The Duchess was in Gloucester visiting St James’ Church of England Junior school where she was spotted reading Harry Potter books to students.
One of Camilla’s many honours is the Patron of Beanstalk, holding education and reading very close to her heart.
Beanstalk is a charity that provides one-to-one literacy support to children, with the Duchess making many appearances for the charity over the years.
Laughing and smiling in her flared pencil skirt and tailored jacket, Camilla also looked at portrait pictures of herself drawn by pupils at the Church of England junior school.
Her appearance at the school is the third step out for Camilla this week, after also celebrating her husband Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party.
To celebrate the birthday of her husband of 13 years this week, Camilla opted for another pastel-hued outfit, this time in mint green.
Spotted holding hands and laughing with new daughter-in-law Meghan Markle, Camilla showed off the mint coloured coat and dress combination, finished with white lace floral detailing on the sleeves and lapel.
Following the celebrations for the Prince of Wales’ 70th, Camilla went on to celebrate the 21st anniversary of 5 News.
She wore a simple shift dress in which covering her legs and arms, which she paired with low-heeled court shoes and her signature pearl earrings and gold bracelet.
The Duchess of Cambridge is famous for her soft, whimsical, pastel-coloured fashion choices, having chosen a pale pink ensemble for the Royal Wedding last weekend.
