Captain Marvel NEW trailer: Carol Danvers PROVES she’s no Skrull to Nick Fury – WATCH

With just two months until its release, some more footage for Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel has arrived. This special look sees her meeting up with the younger Nick Fury and having to prove she’s really Carol Danvers and not a Skrull in disguise. Fury asks her to prove it and Captain Marvel fires an impressive jet of energy out of how fist across the room. She says: “That’s a photon blast.”

Unimpressed, Fury asks: “And?”

Captain Marvel replies: “A Skrull cannot do that.”

To which Fury points out: “I’m just supposed to take your word for that?”

The footage also includes more of the Skrull invasion, training with Jude Law’s mentor and Carol’s amnesia when it comes to how she obtained her awesome powers.

Earlier this month Larson teased what working on the Avengers Endgame set was like and how she dealt with spoilers.

The 29-year-old actress admitted she would have to “erase” her brain after work each day.

Speaking with USA Today, Larson revealed: “I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong thing.”

She continued: “I was like, ‘I can’t live with myself being the one that spoils something.’ So I really just deleted it.”

He added: “I tried my best to journal it if I want to recall it and go, ‘Oh yeah, that was a crazy time.’

“And I’m excited when the movie comes out to finally be able to talk about it and go, ‘Yes, this was crazy.’

“But my family doesn’t know. I haven’t talked to anybody about anything because I’m just a very diligent secret-keeper.”

Captain Marvel is released in UK cinemas on March 8 and Avengers Endgame will follow on April 26, 2019.
