When is Crawl released in cinemas?

Crawl will be out in cinemas on Friday, August 23.

The film will come out in cinemas at the same time as Pain and Glory, starring Antonio Banderas, and Guillermo del Toro horror film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Who is the cast of Crawl?

Kaya Scodelario, who TV fans will recognise as Effy Stonem from 00s show Skins.

Alongside her is Canadian action Barry Pepper, best known for his role in movie True Grit and Saving Private Ryan.

Other than these two, who are the main protagonists, Ross Anderson, Anson Boon, Jose Palma and Morfydd Clark have smaller roles.

Is there a trailer for Crawl?

Yes there is, and it shows Kaya Scodelario’s Haley diving and swimming away from some ravenous alligators.

What is the plot of Crawl?

A student athlete receives a call from her sister that a huge hurricane is on the way to Florida.

In fear that her father has not heard the message, she goes to try and save her father, finding him unconscious and wounded.

And then, the crocodiles arrive…
