Deepika Padukone: BIG news for xXx Return of Xander Cage star as career move REVEALED

xXx star Padukone previously shared an insight into the upcoming project during the JIO Mami Movie Mela, saying: “I have found a film that I am likely to do early next year but it’s not light.

“It’s still a messy romance, it’s quite dark but still in the romantic space,” she explained.

The movie won’t be the first Padukone will be producing as she’s also set to make her debut behind the camera on Kabir Khan’s ’83.

The actress is set to star in ’83 as well, playing Romi Dev, the wife of Kapil Dev, opposite her real life husband Ranveer Singh.

She’s also co-producing Chhapaak, which sees her starring as an acid attack survivor and is based on the true story of Laxmi Agarwal.
