Does Kate Middleton use hair extensions? Royal expert makes SHOCK claim

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, became one of the most famous women in the world in 2011 when she married Prince William at Westminster Abbey. Since the Duke and Duchess’ wedding day, the couple have welcomed three children into the world, namely: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. However, with all the changes the Duchess has been through, one thing has remained consistent – Kate’s perfect hair.

Since she stepped into the spotlight, Kate’s bouncy and silky locks have become her most famous attribute.

However, one royal expert’s query has echoed that of many people in the public – does Kate wear hair extensions?

In Netflix’s 2013 documentary “The Royals”, Editor and found of LibertyLondonGirl.com Sasha Wilkins explained: “I think Kate’s hair has become her badge, it’s the thing she’s most recognisable for – this perfect, glossy incredibly bouncy hair.”

Ms Wilkins went on to add: “There are rumours that she might have hair extensions but I’ve never found anyone to confirm that.”

Is there any truth in the speculation?

In 2014, many believed the hair extensions query had been solved when Kate was pictured on her way to Buckingham Palace for a Christmas lunch with the Queen.

Wearing a half-up-half-down do, it appeared the Duchess was wearing extensions.

At the time, The Independent reported that “keen hair enthusiasts” would recognise the “slightly hollowed gaps in her hair” as the “tell-tale signs of an extension wearer”.

Kate has never confirmed or even spoken out about wearing hair extensions in the past.

In 2011, people also believed Kate’s hair secret had been exposed when she was pictured with a line on her head resembling clip-in extensions on the side of her head as she attended an event at Clarence House.

However, it was later confirmed by Clarence House the line was in fact a scar from an operation the Duchess had as a child.

Whether Kate’s hair is down to good genes or good hairdressers we will not know for sure until the Duchess either accidentally suffers a hair faux-pas or lets it slip herself.
