Melania Trump: US First Lady fashion on inauguration day through the years
Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.
During the traditional ceremony which took place on January 20, 2017 in front of the famous Capitol Building, the businessman’s beautiful wife was by his side to show her support.
Taking on the role of America’s First Lady, Melania Trump stepped into the spotlight in style.
Former model Melania, 49, showed off her fashion credentials from the outset choosing to wear an outfit from an iconic American designer for the very important day.
The mum-of-one wore a stunning pale blue number from Ralph Lauren which drew comparisons to former First Lady and 1960s style icon Jackie Kennedy.
The outfit comprised of a double-face jacket with cropped sleeves worn over a matching knee-length dress.
She completed her look with a pair light blue long gloves and her signature Manolo Blahnik stilettos in a similar colour.
