Halloween film: Michael Myers real face REVEALED – Proves THIS link to original movie

The new movies has taken a territyingly impressive $230million at the global box office on a tiny $10million budget.

There is already talk of a sequel with Jamie Lee Curtis and director David Gordon Green both keen to continue with the saga of Laurie Strode.

But what about her nemesis, the man behind the mask?

The very last seconds of the end credits gave a massive clue about what could happen next and now a new set photo has revealed exactly what lies behind that mask.

In the latest film, the role of Michael Myers is played once more by Nick Castle, but he shares the often silent role with stunt performer and actor James Jude Courtney.

Online site imgur unearthed a startling picture of Courtney on the film set.

Not only is it an incredibly rare shot of Myers’ face, which was never shown in the latest movie, it also confirms the direct links to the the very first movie and how badly Laurie injured him that time.

The image shows Courtney with a horrifying stitched-up left eye, proving Laurie blinded him in that eye all those years ago.

In the 1978 original Laurie stabbed Myers in the left eye with a coat hanger.

What makes it even more terrifying is just how formidable and dangerous the cold-blooded killer is, even half-blinded.

This links in with the creeping realisation that not even being trapped in the basement of a burning house will be enough to finish off the iconic villain.

The latest movie ended with Laurie seemingly triumphant and her enemy dead. Until those creepy last few seconds…

Fans who stayed in their seats to the chilling end heard the unmistakable sound of Myers breathing. Still breathing, as in really not dead.

It looks like Laurie and Michael will be facing each other again before long.

She should aim for the other eye this time…
