Harry Potter movies: Which Harry Potter movie is the best? SHOCK results
Harry Potter came into our lives in 1997 when JK Rowling’s first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, came out in the UK. The world Rowling created has taken the world by storm, spawning films series, theme parks and tourist attractions. But of the movies which were based on the books, which was the best?

In exclusive data shared with the Express.co.uk by tourism company National Holidays, one movie has gone far above and beyond many of the others with both audiences, box office and other magical elements.
After crunching the numbers, it was clear one movie has exceeded the others in how well loved by fans and well received at the box office it was: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
This may seem rather a shock, given it was one of the darkest movies which strayed slightly more than others from the book.
However, it received a 96 per cent rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and an 89 per cent rating by fans on the same site.

This means, compared to the other movies, it is by far the best loved, with the second choice movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, only receiving an average score of 88 per cent.
The performance continues to dazzle at the box office, with the movie grossing the highest of any of the films.
It is the only film which, according to the numbers, broke the billion-mark with its profit margin.
The movie is reported to have made a staggering £1,216,511,219, which is a return on investment of 1225 per cent.
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in Deathly Hallows 2
Strangely, the film which performed the lowest in these terms if Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which made the least profit of £666,688,549.
With that being said, the return on investment was still pretty high due to its lower budget, with a 833 per cent return.
The film also topped the league with other facts, including one of the highest number of spells in the entire franchise.
Approximately 30 spells were cast, 80 magical creatures and more than 100 wands in the final battle.
Ralph Fiennes as Voldermort
In terms of fan love, here are the films in order of their average score between fans and critics:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – 93 per cent
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – 88 per cent
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – 82 per cent
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – 82 per cent
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 – 81 per cent
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – 81 per cent
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – 81 per cent
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – 80 per cent
The three main stars in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Needless to say, the most recent movies from the Fantastic Beasts franchise have performed pretty poorly with both fans and critics.
The first, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, averaged a 77 per cent score from fans and critics combined, with a 75 per cent score from critics versus as 79 per cent score from fans.
Sadly, the second movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald gained the worst reviews from fans and critics than any Harry Potter movie.
With a 37 per cent score from critics and a 55 per cent score from fans, it averaged out a lacklustre 46 per cent score.
There are a huge number of magical creatures, needless to say, and quite a few spells cast, but these movies can not match the unparalleled success of their predecessors.
