Home Alone Google ad: Macaulay Culkin recreates Kevin McCallister scenes – WATCH

Almost three decades ago 10-year-old Culkin charmed the world in Christmas classic Home Alone. Now at the age of 38, the former child star has recreated scenes from the iconic movie. Upon realising he’s Home Alone once again, Culkin needs help from Google Assistant as he goes through a series of tasks throughout the house. In the hilarious montage the actor shaves, bounces on his parents’ bed and watches the black-and-white film within a film from the original movie, Angels With Filthy Souls.

The pair set about reviewing the terrible Home Alone cash-in video games, before doing a booby trap montage.

From setting up the toy cars for slipping over to the swinging paint can – it’s clear Culkin’s still got the mischief in him.

Then, in a surreal montage the Home Alone video game cartridges “walk” through the traps and get their just deserts for being cynical cash-ins.

Earlier this year Culkin revealed the real creepy reason he can’t watch Home Alone anymore.

Appearing on Ellen, Culkin said: “It’s background radiation at Christmas time.

“I’ve had people who want to sit down and watch it with me, which is like both flattering and creepy.

“When I’m watching it I’m remembering ‘that’ day on set…I can’t watch it the same way other people do.”

Culkin returned for Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, although skipped the next two, not so fondly remembered sequels.
