How Meghan Markle is a ‘little more unexpected and youthful’ than Kate, expert reveals

Now a jewellery expert has weighed in on how Meghan’s approach to jewels makes her “more youthful” than Kate Middleton.

Jeweller Pippa Small told PEOPLE: “Kate is more traditional, classic and refined, where as I feel Meghan is a little more unexpected and youthful with her choices.”

“And to see how they wear these heritage pieces is wonderful.”

Pippa also pointed to Meghan’s butterfly earrings, which once belonged to Diana.

Meghan wore them on her tour of Australia.

She said: “That was a beautiful symbol and a lovely gesture.”

“She made them look totally contemporary.”

Meghan Markle appeared at the British Fashion Awards earlier this month. 

The pregnant Duchess of Sussex wore a black dress to honour Clare Waight Keller, 44, of Givenchy.

In other royal Christmas news, Kate Middleton and William will now spend every Christmas Day with the Queen, according to reports. 

An expert ’source’ told US magazine: “Moving forward, Kate and William will continue to do Sandringham every Christmas Eve and Day as opposed to alternating like they used to.”

Apparently, the Cambridge family will visit Kate’s parents later in the festive season.

It was previously reported that Kate and William would alternate the holidays between their respective families.
