It Chapter 2 TRAILER: Pennywise Clown TERRORISES Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy – WATCH

It’s been two years since IT terrorised the Losers’ Club and now the long-awaited sequel has its first trailer. IT Chapter 2 is set 27 years after that summer in 1989 and the gang are all grown up. However, their adult lives are interrupted as Pennywise returns to Derry, Maine once again. The Losers Club must reunite to put this evil to bed once and for all.

After its record-breaking first trailer two years ago, the debut look at It Chapter 2 is actually three-quarters a scene from the movie.

In fact, it’s exactly what was shown at CinemaCon a month ago.

Chastain’s Beverly arrives at her old home in Derry, which is occupied by a creepy old woman.

Only after having a cup of tea and a few disturbing moments does she realise it’s actually Pennywise in disguise when IT runs naked at her in the form of the woman.

Suddenly the rest of the trailer kicks off, giving first looks at the adult Losers’ Club.

The group are seen meeting in a Chinese restaurant, while McAvoy’s Bill reassures love interest Beverly that they can defeat Pennywise if they all stick together.

Pennywise is then seen floating in the air thanks to his iconic red balloons, before a few more horrifying shots of IT.

Author Stephen King as already seen IT Chapter 2 and given his verdict.

King tweeted: “Looking forward to IT CHAPTER 2? You should be. I’ve seen it, and it’s terrific.”

The official plot synopsis reads: “Twenty-seven years after the events of the summer of 1989, It (Bill Skarsgård) returns.

“The Losers’ Club fulfil their promises and return to Derry to put an end to the evil being once and for all. Unbeknownst to them, It has returned, stronger and crueller than ever.”

It Chapter Two is released in UK cinemas on September 6, 2019.
