It Chapter Two 'Goriest' scene includes EYEBALLS horror as SPOILER drowns in blood

Horror movies are all about the blood. So it is terrifying to think about one scene in It Chapter Two which is being touted as the “goriest” in horror history. Seriously, it will take more than mere buckets of the stuff to top the gushing river of blood that poured out of the lift in The Shining, which will have its own sequel in November. Stephen King’s current film is certainly not clowning around, however, with one disturbing scene drenched in blood.

Horror movie characters are often splattered and bathed in blood, but It Chapter Two promises someone drowning in it.

Jessica Chastain plays the adult Beverly when the Losers Club reunites 27 years after their first terrifying tangle with Pennywise.

Poor Beverley endured some horrific scenes in the first movie but it gets far worse this time around.

Chastain revealed: “In the movie, there’s a scene that someone said on set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film in a scene.

“I’ll tell you, the next day I was pulling blood out of my eyeballs.”

It will be hard to top the scenes in the first film when a bathroom erupts in huge spurts of blood, gushing upwards to soak the ceiling and walls, as well as the terrified figure kneeling in terror.

When director Andy Muschietti showcased the first footage from his sequel last year at San Diego Comic-Con he promised the sequel will “crank up the horror aspects.”

He boasted It Chapter 2 would be “scarier and more intense” and that fans should wear their adult diapers to the cinema.

Critics have already confirmed the sequel is bloodier and more gruesome although they disagree over whether it is actually scarier.

Chastain is joined on screen by James McAvoy, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone and Andy Bean as the other adult members of The Losers Club.

McAvoy has admitted that filming scenes with Pennywise was terrifying: “I remember standing there with the rest of the cast, all these adults, and we’d all done weird freaky stuff. And we are all looking at each other going, ‘I don’t like being here. I don’t like being an actor today.’”

Forget all that blood though, the scariest thing in the movie remains Pennywise. McAvoy added: “He really did, he really freaked me out. I never liked clowns as a kid.”
