Ivanka Trump gives rare insight into family life day after intimate Donald birthday post

Ivanka Trump gave a rare insight into her family life today in a picture posted on her Instagram.

The daughter of Donald Trump, President of the US, shared a picture of herself balancing on a long tree branch atop a river below.

While balancing on the branch did not look easy, the First Daughter put both arms out to steady herself.

The photograph caption reads “Date night: Arabella”, referring to her daughter Arabella who took the photo.

It was taken during a mother daughter nature walk in Washington DC yesterday.

Ivanka, who works as an advisor to her father. is usually pictured in glamorous office wear such as heels and pencil skirts or dresses.

However, today she opted for a much more casual outfit for the nature walk.

She wore a white T-shirt, blue straight fit jeans and a pair of black trainers.

Her long blonde hair was worn down and parted in the middle.

While Ivanka is normally seen in more glamorous settings, she has previously been pictured hiking in Hvar, Croatia with her family.

Arabella, whose full name is Arabella Rose Kushner, is Ivanka’s oldest child and only daughter.

Although Arabella does not feature in this photo, Ivanka has posted pictures with her daughter on Instagram in the past.

With her long blonde hair and angelic features, she is the spitting image of Ivanka.

Ivanka’s cute post comes one day after she posted a throwback photo marking her father Donald’s birthday.

The two have always been reported to have a close bond, with Ivanka being Donald’s eldest daughter.

Ivanka is also involved in the president’s life in a professional capacity, holding the title “advisor to the president of the United States”.

Showing how much her father means to her, she posted a heartwarming message to Twitter that read: “Happy, happy birthday Dad! I love you very much. Wishing you your best year yet!!!”

The loving tweet was accompanied by a intimate shot of a young Ivanka with her father, at what looks like a birthday party.

The cute photo shows a young Ivanka all dressed in pink with a pink ribbon in her curly blonde hair.

Her now 72-year-old father looks dapper in a black suit and matching pink tie.

She posted the tweet to her 5.71 million followers, and with the tweet quickly gaining thousands of retweets and favourites.
