Ivanka Trump joins father Donald Trump for working lunch at The White House

Ivanka Trump, 36, sat down with other senior White House officials and her dad, President Donald Trump, for a working lunch today.

Mum-of-three Ivanka looked animated throughout the meeting, gesticulating with her hands as she spoke in front of assembled cameras.

Donald’s oldest daughter wore a purple-blue dress with a high neckline and no embellishment.

The dress wasn’t completly plain, and it featured an unusual ruffled extra-large sleeve on her left side.

Ivanka kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing only a pair of earrings and a slim red band on one wrist.

She didn’t even wear her weddings rings, with her fingers kept noticeably bare.

One thing Ivanka did ensure was that her hair and make-up looked immaculate.

She wore her blonde locks straight down in a centre parting to frame her face.

Her makeup was a classic Ivanka look of nude lips and heavy, smoky eyes.

All of the Trump family were busy today, with Donald joining Ivanka at The White House, and Melania heading to Texas.

The First Lady visited an immigrant detention centre to day on the US border.

She stepped out in an all white outfit today for her official appearance. She also wore a khaki army style jacket over her angelic look.

But the real surprise was that the First Lady looked unusually casual in white jeans, plus a pair of trainers worth under £40.

The mum-of-one also caused controversy for sporting a jacket emblazoned with the words “I really don’t care, do you?” on the back.

However, her spokeswoman has hit back at those who have criticised Melania’s choice.

When asked about the message the First Lady’s jacket intends to send, Stephanie Grisham replied: “It’s a jacket. THere was no hidden message.

“After today’s important visit to Texas, I hope this isn’t what the media is going to choose to focus on.”

While Ivanka joined the rest of the Trump’s in staying busy today, she has not been seen out and about too much recently – but she has been active on social media.

She shared a sweet snap of her family on Father’s Day, praising husband Jared Kushner on his parenting skills.

Her father also got a nod on his 72nd birthday, with Ivanka sharing a cute throwback image of the duo in the 1980s.
