Ivanka Trump looks bored in FRUMPY dress as Donald hosts Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron

Ivanka Trump, 36, stepped out in a frumpy outfit yesterday to support her father Donald Trump, 71, as he hosted Emmanuel Macron, 40, and Brigitte Macron, 65, at the president’s first French state visit.

The US president held an arrival ceremony in honour of Emmanuel’s presence, however, Ivanka looked disengaged with the important political event.

She wore a shapeless black dress which did nothing to flatter the former model’s lithe physique, as she stood alongside husband Jared Kushner, 37.

This dress was paired with the unimaginative accessory of black round toe court shoes with a stiletto heel.

Her face matched her drab look: various photos show Ivanka looking bored and unimpressed while speaking to those at the event.

Ivanka’s dress had long sleeves and a skirt that flared out towards the bottom.

However, on the whole it looked shapeless, as if it was one or two sizes too big for the slender woman.

The dress covered up most of her figure, falling to midway below her calves. 

However, she showed off a hint of flesh at her chest, with one shoulder left bare by the asymmetrical neckline. 

The neck had a weird rope detail around the neckline – which was assumedly an attempt to add personality. 

However, the rope material just looked out of place and – unusually for Ivanka – cheap. 

She paired the natuical look with a mismatched pair of white tribal style beaded earrings. 

Ivanka’s hair looked like she had made less effort than usual, too.

It was tied back in a low ponytail with loose strands escaping around her face. 

Melania Trump wore a white outfit as she welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron, 40, and his wife Brigitte Macron, 64.

Joining President Donald Trump, 71, Melania stunned in a pure white outfit with a severely belted waist which made the most of her model figure.

Clearly aware that the world’s media would be watching, Melania topped off her outfit with a massive wide-brimmed hat.

The First Lady chose a white skirt suit and matching hat as she stood with Donald on the red carpet. A pair of killer heels – blue with a white heel – completed the look.

Melania’s face was difficult to see under her extravagant hat, but a heavily bronzed make-up look was visible.

She wore her caramel coloured hair tucked behind her ears and hanging straight down her back.
