Ivanka Trump wears slinky sheer dress as she gives award to human trafficking aid worker

Ivanka Trump, 36, is the daughter of US President Donald Trump, 72.

As part of her role in the Trump administration, Ivanka is known for supporting a range of charities, particularly focused on women and girls.

Showing her support for ending human trafficking, Ivanka attended a event in Washington DC to mark the release of the Trafficking in Persons report, a tool to “engage foreign governments on human trafficking”.

During the event Ivanka looked stunning in green sheer dress, as she presented an award to a woman for her advocacy work for ending human trafficking.

Along with secretary of state Mike Pomeo, Ivanka beamed as she presents the award to Maizidah Salas of Indonesia.

Ivanka radiated happiness in the slinky pale green summer dress, that was emblazoned with delicate yellow roses.

Cinched in at the waist with peplum detailing, the dress was long-sleeved, exposing a hint of Ivanka’s skin beneath.

The first daughter looked demure in the high-neck fitted dress, with black button detailing on the bust.

She wore her blonde locks straight and down, perfectly framing her smiling face.

The prairie-style skirt of the dress came to just below Ivanka’s knee, floaty and fitting for the summer weather.

The event marked the release of the State Department’s annual Trafficking in Persons report.

The report highlights the state of human trafficking across the globe by ranking countries on their efforts to tackle the issue.

In a speech last week, Ivanka’s father Donald Trump said that immigration “loopholes” have caused a “massive child smuggling trade.”

On Wednesday Ivanka showed she was looking forward to the event, tweeting: “Tomorrow I am honored to join @SecPompeo at the State Department to release the 2018 Trafficking in Persons Report. Watch live at http://state.gov #EndTrafficking”

Ivanka hold the official title of advisor to the president of the United States, and often represents her father at state and political occasions.

Earlier this week Ivanka attended a Republican lunch meeting at The White House with her father.

Reflecting the serious subject matter up for discussion, the mum-of-three wore a classic white shirt. 

But sadly, the shirt did not flatter the pretty blonde, swamping her frame with too much material.

Speculation is also rife as to whether or not Ivanka will join Donald and stepmother Melania Trump on their upcoming trip to London next month. 

During their stay, Melania and Donald will even travel to Windsor Castle, where they are set to meet with the Queen herself.
