James Bond 25 SHOCK: Does THIS prove Ralph Fiennes will be REPLACED as M?

The 55-year-old actor first appeared as Gareth Mallory in 2012’s Skyfall.

As Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee, he was responsible for keeping Judi Dench’s M and MI6 in check.

However in a twist, M died in the 50th anniversary movie seeing Fiennes’ Mallory become the new Secret Service chief.

Since then Fiennes has reprise the role in 2015’s Spectre and with Craig returning for one more James Bond  movie next year, would presumably be expected to play M again.

During an interview with The Telegraph in 2014, Fiennes let slip he was in talks with Bond producers to star in Goldeneye.

Fiennes said: “There was a conversation that was great and a meeting with Cubby Broccoli [who died in 1996], that was terrific.

“I think that’s all I can say, except that it didn’t lead to anything on both sides.

“I don’t think I felt ready to commit and I think they were looking at Pierce [Brosnan].”
