James Bond 25 title ‘NOT revealed today, just cast and details’ say EON: But is THIS when?

Today a big James Bond 25 announcement is set to be revealed from Jamaica at 13:10 BST. Craig and producers flew into the Caribbean nation a few days ago ahead of filming there. With the traditional press conference at Pinewood Studios replaced with a live stream from what is expected to be Ian Fleming’s Goldeneye home, fans are still expecting a title and cast announcement. However, the BBC’s Lizo Mzimba has revealed that EON productions will not reveal Bond 25’s title today.

Lizo tweeted: “The title of the new Bond movie won’t be revealed today according to Eon – the company behind the series.

“They say it will only be the main cast and other details #Bond25.”

This may come as a disappointment to Bond fans, but withholding a film’s title has become a common staple for blockbuster franchises in recent years.

Both Avengers Endgame and Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker were only known as Avengers 4 and Star Wars Episode IX until their titles were unveiled at the end of each film’s first teaser trailer.

Our best bet is this will be the strategy for Bond 25, especially as the title has probably already leaked.

A few months ago, a crew member on “B25 Productions” listed on her online CV a movie for 2020 called “Eclipse”.

Fans and Bond experts are pretty sure this will be the revealed title of Bond 25.

It sounds Bondy, conclusive for Craig’s character arc across five films and this is just how Avengers Endgame’s title was leaked months in advance.

Hopefully, the live stream will reveal Rami Malek as Bond 25’s villain.

The Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody star has been heavily rumoured for the role for months.

While Dua Lipa is expected to be announced as singing the Bond theme.

Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
