James Bond: Best 007 movie of all time REVEALED – Craig beats Brosnan, Connery and Moore
James Bond fans are among the most dedicated and discerning of all film fan bases. From the first 007 movie Dr. No back in 1962 to 2015’s Spectre, they have seen the franchise through thick and thin, critically acclaimed and panned. The trials and tribulations of Bond have built up a massive global following over the course of 50+ years and 24 films.
Now, IMDb have conducted a massive poll to allow fans to vote for the best Bond movie of all time.
A mammoth task, the website set about collating thousands of votes in a tournament to find out which was the greatest film of the lot.
Skyfall knocked Octopussy out, while Dr. No took precedence over The World is Not Enough.
Elsewhere, Live and Let Die beat The Living Daylights and The Man with the Golden Gun swanned through to the later rounds after facing Licence to Kill and For Your Eyes Only.

James Bond movies: Casino Royale has been voted the best 007 film of all time
The semi-finals saw Goldfinger go up against GoldenEye and Casino Royale go up against the first ever Bond film Dr. No, which starred Sean Connery as the suave spy.
That left GoldenEye and Casino Royale (the 2006 version with Daniel Craig) to battle it out for the title.
In the final, Casino Royale beat GoldenEye with 70 per cent of the votes, an overwhelming victory.
It appears Craig’s debut as 007 remains the most lauded Bond film among fans, beating Pierce Brosnan to the punch.

Casino Royale saw Bond go toe-to-toe with Le Chiffre (played by Mads Mikkelsen) and introduced Eva Green as treasury agent and 007’s romantic interest Vesper Lynd.
Some fans weren’t on board with some of the outcomes of the tournament, with one tweeting: “GoldenEye over Goldfinger is criminal!”
“How the fish did GoldenEye beat Goldfinger?” another agreed, while a third commented: “Just plain wrong. I couldn’t vote for either.”
But the votes were tallied on Twitter and the result stands: IMDb has named Craig’s Casino Royale the best Bond film of all time.

The latest in the franchise, the 25th Bond movie No Time To Die, is set for release later this year.
The release date was pushed back seven months due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, which has forced cinemas around the world to temporarily shut up shop.
No Time To Die, which is now set for release in November, will mark Craig’s final appearance as 007.
He will be stepping down from the role around 15 years after succeeding Brosnan.
This will make way for the next era of Bond, with a vacancy waiting to be filled by a brand new actor.
As it stands, McMafia and Little Women star James Norton is the bookies’ favourite to get the part, with Ladbrokes pricing him at 2/1.
Hot on his heels is Scottish actor Sam Heughan, who is best known for playing Jamie Fraser in Outlander and is priced at 3/1 to replace Craig.
Tom Hardy has made a recent comeback in the betting in order to rejoin the frontrunners, priced at 5/1 to take over as the new Bond.
No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas November 12.
